Description

You know the feeling, don't you? You open last year's box and find baubles in five shades that just don't go together. This set takes care of that: all Christmas baubles in one continuous tone, without patterns, without prints. The cap is firmly attached, and hanging strings are included.

Real glass makes all the difference. The baubles have weight, a smooth, cool surface, and reflect the light from candles and fairy lights with depth – no flat glitter, but a serene glow.

Each size is its own set, half matte and half glossy: 24 pieces at 2.5 cm, 16 at 3.5 cm, 12 at 8 cm. The 6-cm set combines 20 baubles as 7 glossy, 7 glossy in a second shade, and 6 matte. Five colors: silver, gold, white, bordeaux, brown.

How many Christmas baubles do I need for which tree size?

That depends on the tree height and the chosen size. For a fully decorated tree, we recommend:

2.5cm: 4 sets for 120 cm | 5x for 150 cm | 8x for 180 cm | 10x for 210 cm | 13x for 240 cm.

3.5cm: 4 sets for 120 cm | 6x for 150 cm | 9x for 180 cm | 11x for 210 cm, 14x for 240 cm.

6cm: 2 sets for 120 cm | 3x for 150 cm | 4x for 180 cm | 5x for 210 cm | 7x for 240 cm.

8cm: 2 sets for 120 cm | 3x for 150 cm | 4x for 180 cm | 6x for 210 cm | 8x for 240 cm.

If you prefer a sparser decoration, use fewer.

Which size should I choose?

That depends on the tree and purpose, not on a rule. 2.5 cm and 3.5 cm are suitable for narrow trees, thin branches, Advent wreaths, and table decorations. 6 cm and 8 cm look good on wide trees and from a distance. One diameter is sufficient for a finished, harmonious tree – you don't have to combine sizes.

Which colors can be combined well?

Since all baubles are single-colored, you can mix them freely without patterns clashing. Silver with white and gold with brown create a calm look. You get more contrast with bordeaux and gold or brown and white. If you're unsure: two shades plus one more size – that's almost always enough.

Are hangers included or do I have to buy hooks separately?

You don't need to buy anything extra. The cap with the eyelet is firmly attached to each bauble, and the hanging cords are loosely included in the set. You thread them through the eyelet once – one movement per bauble – and then you can hang them. You don't need hooks or wire.

How should I store the glass baubles after Christmas?

In the box they arrive in. It has a separate compartment for each bauble, so nothing touches – so you don't need to buy tissue paper or an extra box. Store it in a dry place and preferably not where it gets very hot and then cold again. Next year, you just unpack them again.

A Set, Two Surfaces

Each set contains glossy and matte baubles from the same color family – pre-combined, so you don't have to put anything together yourself.

2.5 cm: 24 baubles – 12 glossy, 12 matte
3.5 cm: 16 baubles – 8 glossy, 8 matte
6 cm: 20 baubles – 7 + 7 glossy in two shades, 6 matte
8 cm: 12 baubles – 6 glossy, 6 matte

Gleamingly reflects, mattly scatters

Hence the mix: A tree with only uniformly shiny baubles appears flat because each reflects light in the same way. The shiny baubles clearly reflect candlelight and string lights, while the matte ones softly diffuse it – this contrast gives the tree depth. Real glass, cool and smooth to the touch, and light enough for even thin branches to bear.

Cap fitted, cord included

Each bauble has a firmly attached cap with an eyelet. The hanging cords are included in the set and are threaded once through the eyelet – one step per bauble, then it can be hung on the branch. You don't need to buy extra hooks, wire, or ribbons, nor do you have to search for anything in last year's box.

How many sets for which tree

So you don't realize halfway through decorating that you don't have enough. For a fully decorated tree, we recommend the following:

For 6 cm baubles, two sets for a 120 cm tree, three for 150 cm, four for 180 cm, five for 210 cm, and seven for 240 cm.

For 8 cm baubles, it's 2 / 3 / 5 / 6 / 8 sets; for 3.5 cm, 4 / 5 / 9 / 11 / 14; and for 2.5 cm, 4 / 5 / 8 / 10 / 13. If you prefer a sparser decoration, use fewer.

FIVE TONES, FREELY COMBINABLE
Silver and white for a bright, clear tree, gold for classic warmth, bordeaux for the festive classic, brown for a natural decoration. Because every color is available in every size, you can add to the same shade next year instead of searching anew. Silver with white and gold with brown create a calm impression, while bordeaux with gold or brown with white offer more contrast.
BACK IN THE BOX AFTER CHRISTMAS
The 6 cm and 8 cm sets come in a cardboard box with individual compartments – after the holidays, you put each bauble back into its compartment, so nothing touches. The 2.5 cm and 3.5 cm sets come together in a collective cardboard box. Store everything in a dry place and, if possible, not where it gets very warm and then cold again.
NOT JUST ON THE TREE
In a shallow bowl on the dining table, on an Advent wreath, in window decorations or integrated into a fir garland, the glass baubles look just as good.
